Graber, a Springs Window Fashions brand, is "rolling out" an entirely new line of window coverings,
LightWeaves® Roller Shades.
These nostalgic window shades have been brought back to life with a host of new technologies and high-style fabrics.
Attached to spring rollers mounted to the inside window casing or window frame, new Graber LightWeaves Roller Shades offer a variety of light control options — from sheer to blackout — while still maintaining indoor privacy. Complementing nearly any type of home décor, these window coverings are available in a wide selection of jacquards, stripes and woven textures.
"Once outdated, roller shades are now considered 'retro-chic' and are in high demand among interior designers and consumers," said Greg Farr, senior vice president of sales and marketing of Graber. "We are thrilled to add Roller Shades to our product line-up and offer yet another window covering option for our dealers and their customers, especially one that brings back nostalgic feelings of the fifties — while embracing today’s most popular colors and patterns."
Graber has made several improvements to its Roller Shades that gives them modern functionality. Graber has fully-updated the shades' internal mechanisms for smooth and quiet operation — no more distinctive "whirring" noises. In addition, LightWeaves Roller Shades are available with several operating systems and controls — like the continuous-loop lift system, which makes it easier to raise large shades while maintaining a constant cord length. Roller Shades also have the option for remote motorization, providing an ideal solution for hard-to-reach shades.
"Because of their versatile nature, these shades are suited for virtually any room in the house, and are even a viable option for large windows," said Farr. "LightWeaves Roller Shades are also designed to blend effortlessly with other window coverings. In fact, many of the Roller Shade fabrics are also available in the Graber Fresco® Roman Shade and Panel Accents™ Sliding Panels collections for a coordinated look for home furnishings throughout the home."
In addition to the 86 fabric choices available for Roller Shades, Graber also offers several decorative finishing touches, including valances, cornices, scallops, trims, braids and fringe.
