GRABER® GETS WINDOW TREATMENTS ON THE RIGHT TRACK WITH NEW PANEL ACCENTS

Middleton, WI - April 28, 2008
Graber, a Springs Window Fashions brand, has introduced Panel Accents Sliding Panels to bring more blinds and room divider options to dealers and consumers seeking beautiful and functional ways to cover large windows and doorways with window treatments.

Panel Accents™ Sliding Panels

"We continue to see a trend in new home construction toward large, often floor-to-ceiling windows and open floor plans," said Greg Farr, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Graber. "Panel Accents Sliding Panels are a stylish alternative to standard blinds or shades that provide practical solutions for both our dealers and their customers who are faced with the common decorating dilemmas of modern interior design."

Panel Accents can operate on either a one-way or split draw with sliding fabric panels that easily glide into place on a sleek aluminum track mounted to the wall or the ceiling. A best-in-class, patent-pending attachment design eliminates the need for traditional Velcro hook and loop tape systems that work loose over time. Panel Accents Sliding Panels glide directly into the panel track system — reducing the light gap between panels that can measure up to .5" on competitors' products and offering an improved method for securing heavier materials.

Offering the desired amount of privacy and light control, Panel Accents Sliding Panels can cover windows and doorways up to 27' wide, and feature a headrail that can be sliced for simplified delivery and installation. Wood cornices and valances placed over the track provide a touch of elegance, while fabric-wrapped cornices are available in coordinating patterns and fabrics.

Panel Accents Sliding Panels can be perfectly matched to other Graber blinds or shades for seamless coordination throughout the home and with home furnishings. The panels are available in most fabrics from Graber's Fresco® Roman Shades collection, which feature a variety of styles, colors and textures ranging from light filtering to room darkening, and LightWeaves® Roller and Solar Shades.

"With Panel Accents, Graber is expanding its product portfolio to include window coverings alternatives that may be used in other areas of a room," said Farr. "This collection provides our valued dealers with versatility and additional solutions for their customers — thus helping to increase profitability."
