Throughout her newly redesigned home in Charleston, South Carolina, Molten has harnessed the power of Graber drapery and top treatments to set the tone. The result of her thoughtful fabric selection is a home with rooms that each convey a different flavor of serenity.

In Molten’s daughter Mae Mae’s room, Molten’s custom-designed, palm-patterned wallpaper is perfectly complemented by beautiful Graber drapery.

“They have the big, blush-stripe fabric,” says Molten, “and a beautiful green fringe that ties back to the pillows on her bed.”

Drapery’s ability to tie together different room elements can also be seen in Molten’s daughter Marion’s room, where Graber drapery and a matching, curved cornice reflect not only the color scheme of the room but also the shapes.

“I went to the Graber showroom and saw these scalloped cornices,” Molten said, “and I knew that we had to have them—they coordinate with the bed so perfectly.”

But the tremendous design capabilities of Graber drapery are most clearly seen in Molten’s primary bedroom.

“One of my favorite parts of the new suite is our Graber blackout draperies,” said Molten. “They have been a game-changer.”

Molten says that the combination of the oak tree-patterned wallpaper and the blackout drapery makes it “feel like you’re sleeping in a beautiful forest.”

The serenity of this bedroom goes beyond the visual—it is supported by a hidden Graber innovation: Somfy Glydea automation technology. This allows Molten to easily open and close her drapery in several different ways.

“I can either set it on my phone so they can open or close at a certain time,” says Molten. “Or I could use my remote if it’s on my nightstand. But my favorite option is to just do the little tug and they go all the way back seamlessly. It’s just so serene.”

The primary suite’s easy comfort extends through a set of patio doors to a back-porch spa where Molten likes to unwind at the end of the day—in privacy, thanks to a set of black-and-white, palm-print Graber outdoor drapery that provides a visual barrier between her porch and her next-door neighbors. This allows Molten to soak in her tub in peace, enjoying her view of backyard palms and marshland.

“Welcome to my little slice of paradise,” she says.

But the possibilities for your own room design extend beyond Graber’s amazing fabric selection. You also have the option to have Graber create drapery using a special fabric that you provide them—a program known as C.O.M. (customer’s own material). This means there really is no limit to your interior design dreams when you choose Graber.
